Vodafone Idea Ltd shares surged as much as 14.9% to ₹10.47 apiece on the NSE. Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Ltd rallied up to 14.7% to an intraday high of ₹81.5 apiece, while Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) gained 13% to ₹52.9 per share on the NSE.
